Presbytery-wide Antiracism Trainings
At our March 2022 Presbytery Meeting, the Anti-Racism and Equity committee announced that our work with Crossroads Organizing and Training will continue through 2023. At its February 2022 meeting, Roundtable voted to approve a new contract with Crossroads. The contract includes a series of presbytery-wide and cohort based trainings & leadership coaching for Presbytery staff, Roundtable and the Anti-Racism & Equity Committee.
Click HERE for a FAQ document about the expanded contract with Crossroads, and if you have any additional questions, you can reach the co-chairs by e-mail: the Rev. Jenny Peek and the Rev. Kevin White.
Series 1: What is antiracism and what does it require of us?
October 5th, October 19th, November 2nd, November 16th, 6-8pm, on Zoom.
-
You can register as an individual, or as the leader of a group. This would be a great adult education series for fall 2022!
-
These trainings are free and open to all – visitors, members, elders, deacons, clergy, staff – everyone is welcome and encouraged to join.
-
We are prioritizing live, in-person, participation by not offering recordings of the trainings to registrants. (The Presbytery will license recorded content from the trainings for reference with series 2 and 3).
-
These presbytery-wide trainings will continue through May 2023, and will require the series 1 training as a prerequisite.
